Lately, Longyuan Power Carbon Assets Co., Ltd. under CHN Energy established the industry’s first coal-fired power plant carbon emissions data confirmation system, providing strong support for enhancing the quality of carbon emissions data of relevant enterprises.

China’s carbon emission data statistics, cross-checking, calculation and analysis mainly rely on manual operations, so the workload is large and manmade errors are unable to avoid. Keeping foothold in the field of carbon emission digital technology innovation and leveraging its years of experience in carbon emissions management, Longyuan Power of CHN Energy has formed a set of inspection and confirmation system for judging the internal logical relationship of carbon emissions data of coal-fired power plants through summarizing and analyzing the law of their carbon emissions data. The system contains reasonable threshold ranges of 14 basic parameters and 16 calculation parameters, which can check the value range of carbon emissions data and the logical rationality of key parameters, quickly locate abnormal data, explore the causes of faults and malfunctions, and realize self-verification of the rationality of carbon emissions data, thus greatly reducing the time of manual review and enhancing work efficiency.
